A bit about Mariana Pickering:
With a background spanning architecture, sustainability, and Passive House training, Mariana brings a unique blend of expertise and a knack for making complex ideas accessible. She’s no stranger to leading change - previously co-founding and growing Emu Passive, North America’s largest accredited hands-on Passive House training program, and recently serving in the inaugural Energy Communities AmeriCorps cohort. At B.PUBLIC, Mariana will lead community-building initiatives, strengthen our industry connections, and craft stories that inspire a more sustainable future. As the only West Coast-based team member, she’ll be supporting national impact while anchoring outreach in the Pacific Northwest.
