B.PUBLIC Prefab is seeking an experienced, relationship-oriented Builder Partnership Team Leader to join our growing company. This role is all about supporting builders, expanding our partner network, and helping our industry build better, faster, and more sustainably.
We’re looking for someone who combines construction expertise, soft-sales relationship building, and strong project management skills. You should be equally comfortable talking with builders, reviewing site conditions, coordinating project details, solving problems on the fly, and representing B.PUBLIC at events and job sites.
This is a community-builder position—ideal for someone who respects the trades, communicates with clarity and humility, and genuinely wants to help people succeed. You must be ready and enthusiastic to travel to job sites with variable notice.
What You’ll Do
This is a new and evolving role; responsibilities may grow based on your experience.
Builder Relationships & Program Development
Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with builders, installers, and service partners
Serve as the key connector between B.PUBLIC and our professional network
Lead onboarding, orientation, and training sessions for new building partners
Provide incoming technical assistance to builders, installers, and clients
Construction Coordination & Project Support
Support preconstruction and preinstall planning
Perform site feasibility reviews and new client site assessments
Review construction documents and provide technical input
Deliver construction administration assistance from kickoff through install
Track progress, coordinate consultants, and maintain project documentation
Support QA/QC efforts and ensure installation compliance
Organize and lead installation training sessions
Technical & Estimating Support
Assist with construction cost estimating and project proformas
Coordinate technical and marketing responses to inquiries
Help prepare project materials, specifications, and documentation
Maintain accurate databases, bidding documents, and delivery tracking
Work with suppliers and material partners to support product installs
Outreach & Representation
Attend construction meetings, conferences, networking events, and training workshops
Represent B.PUBLIC in professional and industry organizations
Support both marketing and technical communication efforts
Required Skills & Experience
Administrative / Coordination
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
Ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication; professional email and customer-service etiquette
Ability to read, understand, and evaluate construction drawings
Competence with:
SketchUp
Excel, Word, Google Workspace
Project management tools and workflows
Preferred:
Bluebeam Revu
Basic familiarity with BIM/Revit workflows
Technical
5+ years of experience in construction or a related field
Experience with construction budgeting and fieldwork
Familiarity with panelized, off-site, or prefabricated construction
Understanding of building systems, detailing, and high-performance approaches
Interest in sustainable construction and advanced building performance
Preferred: Passive House experience or training
Bonus: Estimating background, relevant trades certifications, or hands-on building experience

B.PUBLIC Prefab is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead and deliver client projects within our innovative prefab, high-performance building environment. You will work closely with our tech team, design studio, and executive leadership to manage both direct-to-consumer home design projects and professional B2B partnerships. This role is central to our mission—helping clients build better, more sustainable structures while advancing a healthier planet.

Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple client projects—from initial contract through final handoff
Present and review contracts with clients; support contract negotiations as needed
Coordinate and support all project contributors: designers, architects, engineers, and external partners
Manage project schedules, timelines, milestones, and critical dependencies
Track logistics, issues, risks, and develop solutions to keep projects on schedule
Organize and lead project meetings; produce clear notes, action items, and follow-up plans
Maintain and update project data, documentation, CRM systems, and tracking software
Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
Oversee QA/QC processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high-quality client deliverables
Serve as a primary client contact, nurturing strong relationships and ensuring exceptional client experiences
Required Skills & Qualifications
8–10 years of experience in commercial construction, architecture, engineering, prefabrication, or a closely related field
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects independently or with a cross-functional team
Superior organizational, time-management, and documentation skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident presenter and facilitator
Technically proficient; comfortable navigating digital tools and software
Experienced in negotiation, conflict resolution, and multi-party coordination
Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain long-term client relationships
Proficiency with: QuickBooks Online, Zoho, Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint
Desired Experience (Not Required, but a Plus)
Experience in the design, construction, or building technology sectors
Knowledge or professional experience in sustainable, eco-friendly, or climate-focused building practices
Exposure to high-performance building standards; Passive House training/knowledge a strong plus
Interest in green technology, prefabrication, and the future of sustainable construction
