B.PUBLIC Prefab Purchase Process & Payment Schedule v26.02
First Payment = Approximately 30% due upon approval of this Initial Sales Order
Approval of Initial Sales Order by the Buyer reserves a production time slot in the B.PUBLIC Prefab manufacturing pipe-line per Desired Delivery Date stated herein and authorizes B.PUBLIC Prefab to produce project shop drawings required for manufacturing, purchase materials, and commit resources in the process of fulfilling B.PUBLIC Prefab’s obligations under this agreement. Due to the the review and approval process required and lead times in manufacturing; changes to the project after the Architectural Design Freeze Date are subject to additional charges for re-work per the terms of this agreement.
Second Payment = Approximately 60% due upon approval of Final Sales Order
Approval of Final Sales Order by the Buyer authorizes B.PUBLIC Prefab to begin manufacturing of prefabricated assemblies per approved shop drawings and project specifications. Changes to project design or specifications after approval of Final Sales Order are subject to additional expenses for re-work per the terms and conditions of this agreement. The Final Sales Order establishes the Buyer’s Delivery Date.
Last Payment = Balance of Final Sales Order + Shipping cost due upon Delivery
The Final payment includes the balance of the Final Sales order and shipping costs. B.PUBLIC Prefab may provide estimated shipping costs at the request of the Buyer, however estimated shipping costs are subject to change and actual shipping cost shall be based on shipping broker quotes provided during delivery coordination which is typically within four weeks of delivery.
Refund Policy
Upon approval of Sales Orders by the Buyer, B.PUBLIC incurs expense and makes commitments to the manufacturing process which include projected overhead, labor and anticipated profit obligations based on the scale of the project. No refunds shall be made after approval of Sales Orders due to project cancellation unless expressly decided otherwise by B.PUBLIC Prefab and at B.PUBLIC Prefab’s sole discretion.
Taxes & Payment terms
Sales amounts may be subject to taxes. All applicable taxes shall be applied to individual invoices proportional to the amounts due. Invoices shall be submitted to the Buyer as outlined above and shall be due within 10 days of receipt. Accounts past-due by >30 day are subject to a 2% monthly service charge on the outstanding balance.
