5280 Magazine: B.PUBLIC Home On The CGBG Green Home Tour

Our Marshall Fire Passive House Home in Louisville, CO is featured in 5280 Magazine as one of four homes highlighted ahead of the Colorado Green Building Guild's 10th Annual Green Home Tour, happening this Saturday, September 19th.

The article, written by Rebecca Bratburd, spotlights the home for its passive house certification, net zero performance, and firewise design. The home costs its owners only $292 a year in electricity. That covers heating, cooling, hot water, charging two cars, and all other energy use.

The home was designed by Baseline Design Studio and built by Hammerwell. B.PUBLIC provided the prefab panel system.

The Green Home Tour is a self-guided experience open to homeowners, design enthusiasts, and building professionals. The tour runs 10am to 4pm across homes in Boulder, Louisville, Conifer, and Fort Collins. There's also a Build Better Expo and happy hour after-party at Relish in Louisville starting at 3pm.
