High-Altitude Home in Leadville

Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Rocky Mountains, this custom home in Leadville, Colorado, demonstrates how B.PUBLIC panels perform in even the most challenging climates. Designed by the homeowner herself—an architect and wildland firefighter—the project balances refined simplicity with rugged resilience. Built in collaboration with Hammerwell and led on-site by Approved B.PUBLIC Installer Tyler Bilecky, the home showcases the adaptability of B.PUBLIC systems to meet high-performance goals at altitude. With its modern form, airtight envelope, and low-carbon materials, this residence exemplifies a new standard for sustainable living in mountain communities.
