Stacked Studio in Santa Cruz, CA

This beautiful two-story ADU in Santa Cruz is a great example of how our panelized system can help build infill units using your existing property footprint. It was designed by Siena Shaw, a local Santa Cruz passive house architect from Dimension Style. The owners are passive house advocates, and it was an honor to support their goals.

The guesthouse is partially attached to the main house, and includes a laundry room that is shared between the two spaces. Its design includes fire-resistant detailing, with longterm durability built in from day one. It was installed by Trent Laughton from Not Not, who took it from a slab foundation to an assembled house in four working days.
