Co.LAB Hangout in Nova Scotia

This Nova Scotia home brings the Hereabout Co.LAB Hangout plan to life in a coastal climate with a tight construction window and ambitious performance goals. Manufactured through B.PUBLIC’s decentralized production partnership, the panelized shell was erected in October and weathered in quickly during a race against the onset of winter. The two-story home balances a simple gabled form with generous interior volume, including four bedrooms, a lofted flex space, and radiant floor heating throughout. Continuous ventilation via an ERV supports indoor air quality, while high-performance windows by Innotech anchor the envelope strategy. Drone footage and a full flyover document the speed, precision, and coordination required to deliver a high-performance home under real-world conditions.
